For the past thirty years, Andy’s Jazz club has been one of the most popular places to hear Jazz in Chicago. To update their sound system, the club’s management tapped the team at A.I.S. to install a sound system worthy of its top-flight musical talent and to meet budget goals. A.I.S designed a system using speakers and amps which delivered exception clarity and detail. The result was a completely improved musical experience and a very satisfied client
When the owners at the Chicago based restaurant concept group, Eat Well Drink Better, were building their first live music venue, they met with many audio visual installation and design firms. Superior technical knowledge and experience was the deciding factor they chose A.I.S to design a top quality audio and lighting system. To meet the challenges of installing a lighting system in a 100-year old building, the design team fashioned custom rigging hardware in their in-house metal shop. The sound system was positioned in the room so everyone hears the band clearly no matter where one finds themselves in the room. The FOH console comfortably handles local and national acts. Local FOH engineers have consistently said its one of the best systems Midwest and the region’s premier venue to enjoy live music. “The sound system is excellent,” says co-owner Adolfo Garcia, “A.I.S was very responsive to our vision, I would recommend them one hundred percent."
With the reputation of one the Mexico’s best restaurants for wine, cigars, and steaks, the owners of 40 West hired the team at A.I.S. to deliver an exception sound system. The sound system A.I.S designed was flexible to provide sound reinforcement the top-notch blues/jazz bands and provide beautiful ambient music at low levels while complementing the restaurant’s aesthetics. The Bilingual A.I.S. technicians expertly installed a “bullet proof” system in time and within budget.
After being fed up with unprofessional AV installers and facing a grand opening deadline, the owners of Chicago based Rebel Bar called the crew A.I.S. install an exception sound system under difficult circumstances. The bar was a complete gut rehab with ten other trades working in close quarters. With one week to complete a complete installation, A.I.S. successfully completed it ahead of schedule. After the owner heard the results, they immediately task the team A.I.S. to work upgrading all his other bars.
With the completion of Rebel Bar, The team at A.I.S. was tasked with upgrading the sound system Water House Tavern on the north side of Chicago. A.I.S. By repurposing existing equipment and adding new system upgrades, the sound system exceeded the client’s sonic expectations and most important stayed within the budget. All work was performed with in a narrow 48-hour window so the bar could remain open during system upgrades.
With the success of Rebel Bar and Waterhouse Tavern, Bluelight bar located in the historic Wrigleyville neighborhood was in dire need of a sound system upgrade. Like its sister bars, the Bluelight’s sound system received a complete overhaul without any downtime to the bar’s business.
The owners of the popular local bar and grill Hop Haus faced a unique problem. The dance club located directly below the restaurant had a club sound system that was interfering with their business at certain hours in the evening. The management team at Hop Haus decided they would not be upstaged, for a fraction of the price of the club sound system below them A.I.S. installed a sound and lighting system of their very own. The system was the designed around legendary Void Acoustics speaker technology with custom designed A.I.S. subwoofers. Shortly after the system was installed, Hop Haus’s traffic increased significantly so much that its now one of the most popular clubs on the block.
After dealing with many so called “specialized house of worship” A/V Firms, Crosswinds Community church felt their sound and lighting vision was not fulfilled. To fully realize their modern worship vision, the A.I.S. design team put together an exciting proposal complete with Trussing, Moving lights, Flying Plasma’s and exceptional sound system using Turbosound and Void Acoustics enclosures. The system was installed on time and within budget. Members of the church come from miles to enjoy a truly unique experience.
